Andrew Foulkes, Youth Worker

Hi! I joined St Luke’s Church in January 2011 after eight years as Youth Minister at St Chad’s Church in Woodseats, Sheffield. In 2005 I graduated with a degree in youth work and I married Michelle, with whom I have three young children.

I coordinate a variety of the Altitude groups & activities, from weekly Bible studies & youth clubs, to special one-off events & residentials (The Oakes & Soul Survivor) for young people both on a Sunday and throughout the week.

I’d love to hear from you if you would like to find out more about the Altitude groups & activities we run. You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Jenny Griffiths, Children and Families Worker.

I moved to Sheffield from Birmingham in 2007 to study music at Sheffield University, and have worked in the city as a music tutor ever since. I also became increasingly involved in working with children and young people, taking on Guide Unit in Crookes and then responsibility for Childrens' Ministry at St Timothy’s Church.

I joined St Luke’s in 2015 to take on the role of Children and Families Worker. For me being at St Luke’s means co-ordinating mid-week groups, toddlers and other special events with Andrew Foulkes (our youth worker) and other members of the Altitude team. My role also involves supporting the parents and carers or our younger members and reaching out into the community to provide a safe, caring and welcoming place for young families.

Are you a parent wanting to find out more, or interested in getting involved with Altitude at St Luke? Please feel free to drop me an email, or come find me at church.
